Abstract:
The present invention reduces in electromagnetic radiation of a class-D amplifier. A class-D amplifier 100 has, mounted on one printed board 300 thereof, an input amplification circuit 10, a modulation circuit 20, an output amplification circuit 40, and an output filter 50. The input amplification circuit 10 amplifies an input signal by using an input earth G1 as a reference voltage. The modulation circuit 20 outputs a pulse which resulted from modulation by a signal amplified by the input amplification circuit 10 and which has a switching frequency of 1.7 MHz or higher. The output amplification circuit 40 amplifies the pulse by using an output earth G2 as a reference voltage. The output filter 50 allows passage therethrough of a first low-frequency band component of the amplified pulse to generate an output signal. On the printed board 300, a solid pattern 302 of the output earth G2 is formed so as to extend over the input amplification circuit 10, the modulation circuit 20, the output amplification circuit 40, and the output filter 50.
