Abstract:
The invention of the present application provides a sterile container for cell culture that is sufficiently sterile but sufficiently retains the low cell adsorption thereof and makes it possible to easily form cell aggregates by cell culture. This low-cell-adsorption sterile container for cell culture comprises a cell accommodation part that is formed from a resin material and accommodates cells and a liquid culture medium to make it possible to perform cell culture. A coating layer that is formed from a water-soluble resin that has a hydrophilic functional group at a side chain is formed on an inner surface of the cell accommodation part. The water-soluble resin is cross-linked to itself and to the inner surface of the cell accommodation part. A radiation sterilization treatment is performed on the sterile container such that the absorbed dose of radiation is 20–45 kGy.
