Abstract:
The present invention relates to the technical field of air conditioners, and specifically provides a cleaning apparatus for an air conditioner, and a control method for the cleaning apparatus. The present invention aims to solve the problems of a filter screen of an existing air conditioner having to be regularly dismounted and cleaned, the process of cleaning the filter screen being tedious, and it being complicated to dismount the filter screen. For this purpose, the cleaning apparatus for an air conditioner of the present invention comprises an electrowetting glass filter screen, which comprises a glass body and a first electrode layer, wherein the glass body is arranged between a volute air outlet of an air conditioner and an indoor heat exchanger of same, and a plurality of filter holes are formed in the glass body; and the first electrode layer is circumferentially arranged around the glass body, and the first electrode layer is connected to a positive electrode of a power source and a negative electrode of the power source. In the present invention, the first electrode layer is circumferentially arranged around the glass body, and since the first electrode layer can generate an electric field to repel droplets on the glass body, the droplets fall under the action of gravity, making dust and particle impurities adhering to the glass body fall along with the droplets, thereby achieving the aim of cleaning.
