Abstract:
A cleaning robot according to an embodiment comprises: a body; a traveling part for moving the cleaning robot; a pad motor for rotating a pad provided at the lower surface of the body; a humidity sensor provided around the pad to sense the humidity of the surroundings of the pad; and at least one processor for, when current humidity sensed by the humidity sensor is lower than preset reference humidity while the traveling part and the pad motor operate, controlling the pad motor to cause the pad to stop rotation and controlling the traveling part to cause the cleaning robot to return to a docking station.
