Abstract:
Provided is an cleaning sheath (3) for an endoscope (2) which is inserted into a body cavity, wherein an air supply conduit (22) and a water supply conduit (23) are disposed on the external side of a hollow part (21) wherein an insertion part (4) of the endoscope (2) passes therethrough. Said cleaning sheath sprays a mist-shaped fluid body, which is a mixture of carbon dioxide gas and a liquid, in a viewport (9) of the endoscope (2), cleaning said viewport (9). The cleaning sheath (3) comprises a tube body (20), wherein at least a thick part thereof from the air supply conduit (22), which supplies the carbon dioxide to the external obverse face thereof, is formed of a silicone resin.
