Abstract:
This clip unit is provided with: a pressing tube that has a longitudinal axis and is formed in a cylindrical shape; an arm unit that comprises a first arm and a second arm and that transitions from a first open mode in which the first arm and the second arm are separated by a first distance, to a second open mode in which the first arm and the second arm are separated by a second distance that is greater than the first distance, such transition due to a moving unit, which includes at least the first arm or the second arm, moving relative to the pressing tube in a first direction that follows the longitudinal axis; and a restraining unit that, when the arm unit is in the first open mode, exerts a force that opposes a force that causes the moving unit to move in the first direction on the moving unit, thereby restricting the movement of the moving unit in the first direction and restricting the arm unit from transitioning from the first open mode to the second open mode.
