Abstract:
A closed staple height adjusting mechanism for a stapler. The stapler comprises a first handle portion (1) and a second handle portion (2). The first handle portion (1) comprises: a staple cartridge housing (12) disposed at a distal end; a staple cartridge; an actuator; and a closed staple height adjusting mechanism. The second handle portion (2) comprises an anvil (21) disposed at a distal end. The staple cartridge comprises a staple (3). The actuator drives a detachment of the staple (3) from the staple cartridge and presses the staple against the anvil (21) so as to compress the staple to form a closed staple. The adjusting mechanism adjusts a distance between the actuator and the anvil (21) to adjust a closed staple height of the staple (3) for the stapler. Also disclosed is a stapler comprising said closed staple height adjusting mechanism.
