Abstract:

This clothes dryer is provided with a drum (1) for agitating clothes, a window glass (36) provided on the front of the drum (1), a blowing unit (4) for blowing drying air, a dehumidifying unit (6) for dehumidifying the drying air, and a heater (7) for heating the dehumidified drying air. Further provided are a first air path (9) having a first outlet (8), a second air path (11) having a second outlet (10), an air-path-switching unit (12) for switching between the first air path (9) and the second air path (11), a temperature-detection unit (71) for detecting the temperature of the window glass (36), and a controller (70). The controller (70) performs a control for switching between the first air path (9) and the second air path (11) via the air-path-switching unit (12) when the detection result of the temperature-detection unit (71) has reached a first predetermined temperature. During the drying operation it is thereby possible to realize a clothes dryer in which clothes can be taken out anytime and there is little uneven drying while consuming little power.
