Abstract:
Provided are a clutch device for washing machines and a washing machine in which the transmission of rotational drive force can be continued/discontinued by the rotation of a clutch motor in one direction, and with which it is possible to easily cope with demands such as the widening of the movement range of a clutch member. More specifically, in this clutch device, a crank mechanism (70) is used in a clutch member drive mechanism (7), and when a clutch motor (79) rotates in one direction, a crank member (71) rotates in one direction, and, in conjunction with said rotation, a link member (72) oscillates back and forth to make a clutch member (40) move back and forth between a connect position and a disconnect position. Because the link member (72) is interposed between the crank member (71), to which the rotation of the clutch motor (79) is output, and the clutch member (40), the clutch member (40) can be made to move back and forth over a wide angular range without increasing the diameter of the crank member (71).
