Abstract:
A clutch having a wear follow-up mechanism is provided with: a detection member that is disposed relative to a pressure plate, and that moves along a circumferential direction of a clutch disc and detects wear of the clutch disc; and an adjustment member that is disposed relative to the pressure plate, and that, when wear of the clutch disc is detected by the detection member, moves along the circumferential direction of the clutch disc and adjusts the height of a fulcrum, where the clutch disc is supported, in accordance with the amount of wear of the clutch disc. The detection member is provided with a locking mechanism that uses centrifugal force F to lock movement along the circumferential direction.
