Abstract:
The present invention provides a parking brake lever device in which an assembly defect, such as a compression coil spring being locked to a locking pawl between coil windings, can be easily found by an inspector. In the parking brake lever device, a compression coil spring 31 is assembled to a spring receiving part 33A and a locking pawl 41 inside an operating section S that has a roughly cylindrical shape, thereby urging a release knob 19 to the outside of the operation section S. The length of a second tightly wound end portion of the compression coil spring 31 locked to the locking pawl 41 is longer than a deflection amount of the compression coil spring 31 during a maximum pressing operation of the release knob 19 based upon the natural length of the compression coil spring 31.
