Abstract:

This CO sensor (1) is provided with a sensing electrode (3) and a counter electrode (4) on the surface of a solid electrolyte substrate (2). The sensing electrode (3) is configured from Pt to which Bi2O3 is added, and the counter electrode (4) is configured from Pt. The sensing electrode (3) has CO selectivity by which the concentration of a CO gas can be sensed, and rapidly reacts at room temperature.
