Abstract:
Provided are a COD online measurement method and device, wherein same measure the COD of sewage by combining an ORP and an electrolytic oxidant, that is, a change in the ORP value of a water sample to be tested is measured by oxidizing organic matters in the water sample to be tested, such that the COD value in the water sample to be tested can be quickly measured without the need to determine the consumption amount of a reactant through titration as in a traditional mode. The reading of the ORP is fast, and fast reading and online measurement can be achieved at the same time. A series of operations, such as data acquisition, calculation, and the addition of an oxidant, in a COD measurement process can be performed without human participation, and the COD value of sewage can be automatically measured online. The corresponding COD online measurement device has a simple structure, is easily operated and has low maintenance costs, and is free of other chemical titrants and calibration agents, thereby reducing secondary pollution and being more environmentally friendly.
