Abstract:
Disclosed are a code rate adjustment method and device for an encoding process. The method comprises: for a target video frame on which complexity analysis has been performed, determining a complexity adjustment factor of the target video frame according to a frame type and duration of the target video frame; acquiring a current video frame to be encoded, and calculating, according to the complexity of the target video frame on which complexity analysis has been performed and the complexity adjustment factor, long-term complexity corresponding to the current video frame; determining, according to the long-term complexity and a preset reference number of bits per pixel, a target number of bits per pixel corresponding to the current video frame; and determining, according to the target number of bits per pixel and a configuration parameter of a target video to which the current video frame belongs, a target code rate to be used in current encoding. The technical solution provided by the present application facilitates code rate adjustment.
