Abstract:
Provided are a coding structure based on t-design fractional repetition codes, and a construction method for same. The present coding structure consists of an external MDS code and a fractional repetition code; when a data block has passed through MDS encoding, the outputted encoded block respectively replicates limited multiples, then disperses these to various storage nodes; a fractional repetition code expresses an arrangement on storage nodes of a plurality of encoded blocks replicating limited multiples, while at the same time ensuring that a copy of each encoded block is stored respectively on a different node. The technical solution of the present application reduces calculation complexity in a node repair process while ensuring minimal consumption of bandwidth during such a node repair process, and in particular not consuming excessive bandwidth.
