Abstract:
The present invention relates to a consensus method for a decentralized domain name system, comprising: A. forming, using blockchain technology, a consortium chain network among domain name network nodes, and generating committee members from top-level domain name network nodes; B. in the consortium chain network, the member having the most votes in a committee member voting election packaging a first block of the consortium chain network, and generating a random number to specify the next packaging member manager; C. the manager of the on-duty managers of the current round that has the serial number the same as the random number generated by the previous packaged block performing block packaging and generating a random number to specify the next packaging member; D. in the current round of duty cycle, the managers taking turns to package the blocks and generating random numbers for circulation; E. when the duty cycle expires, the random number generated by the last block packaging manager pointing to the serial number of the first block packaging manager in the next cycle, and performing steps C-E. The invention separates the regulatory power and enforcement power, and makes powers and responsibilities clear, improving the efficiency of consensus verification, and reducing system election overheads.
