Abstract:
The present invention provides a coil device formed by mounting a coil component on a casing. The coil device is provided with a core 20, a coil 51 that is wound around the core, and a casing 70 on which the core is mounted, and is formed by cutting a molded core 20, which comprises an annular magnetic body comprising a magnetic material and an insulating resin cover part that covers the magnetic body, at a first cut section and a second cut section that traverse the outer peripheral surface and the inner peripheral surface and that come closer to each other in the inner peripheral direction of the molded core, thereby obtaining a body 30 and a segment 40, and positioning the segment in a cutout part 31 formed in the body. The resin cover part 22 has a body-side flange part 25 and a segment-side flange part 27 that protrude from the outer periphery and/or sideways. The casing has a recess 72 into which the body-side flange part and the segment-side flange part are inserted.
