Abstract:
This coin shaped battery (1) for soldering using a reflow method comprises a positive electrode (2), a negative electrode (3), an electrolyte layer (4), and an exterior body (5). The exterior body (5) has a sealed space that houses the positive electrode (2), the negative electrode (3), and the electrolyte layer (4). The exterior body (5) comprises a positive electrode can (51), a negative electrode can (52), and a gasket (53). The plate thickness of each of the positive electrode can (51) and the negative electrode can (52) is 0.075 to 0.25 mm, and the plate thickness of the positive electrode can (51) is different from the plate thickness of the negative electrode can (52). This makes it possible to realize a thin, high-performance coin shaped secondary battery (1), for which a decrease in performance due to solder reflow is suppressed.
