Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method performed by a device, the method comprising the steps of: receiving in real time an image captured by an endoscope inserted into the colon of a patient; recognizing each sectional image including at least one wrinkle inside the colon within the image; displaying a first visual effect representing the at least one wrinkle within each sectional image; determining whether the backside of the at least one wrinkle in each sectional image is captured; and as a result of the determination, in at least one sectional image in which the image of the backside of the at least one wrinkle is not captured, displaying a second visual effect, which indicates that the image of the backside of the corresponding wrinkle is not captured.
