Abstract:
Provided is a coloring composition which is capable of forming a cured film that is not susceptible to mixing of other colors. Also provided are: a cured film which utilizes the coloring composition; a color filter; a pattern forming method; a method for producing a color filter; a solid-state imaging element; and an image display device. A coloring composition which contains a coloring agent and a resin, and wherein: the coloring agent contains at least a first phthalocyanine pigment that is a halogenated zinc phthalocyanine pigment and a second phthalocyanine pigment that is selected from among halogenated phthalocyanine pigments that have one element selected from the group consisting of Al, Ti, Fe, Sn, Pb, Ga, V, Mo, Ta and Nb as a central metal and halogenated phthalocyanine pigments that have no central metal; the content of the coloring agent relative to the total solid content in the coloring composition is 50% by mass or more; and the content of the first phthalocyanine pigment in the total mass of the coloring agent is 50% by mass or more.
