According to an aspect of the present invention, when a plurality of pieces of event information, which are generated in a network, are aggregated and a combination rule of pieces of event information to be monitored is constructed, an information processing device: collects the plurality of pieces of event information; calculates correlation values with respect to a plurality of combinations of event information including m (m≥3) pieces of event information generated from the plurality of pieces of collected event information, the correlation values increasing as the number of times or the frequency that event information included in a combination appears as in the combination increases, or as a time interval between pieces of event information included in the combination becomes short; selects a combination of the pieces of event information, the calculated correlation values of which being equal to or greater than a prescribed value; and generates the combination rule on the basis of the selected combination of the pieces of event information.
