1. A combine harvester for drying mown cereals and stems characterized in that comprising;

- an electric heater (8), which is running by the energy provided from a solar panel (6) located on the driver's cab of the combine harvester and transferred by a power cable (7) to the electric heater (8), provides the first drying to the mown products before they are carried to a sieve (10),

- a first heater fan (2), a second heater fan (3) and a third heater fan (4) which spray the hot water formed by the engine and the hot air taken from the exhaust through the hot water hose (5) and the hot air transmission hoses by means of the radiator (1 ) on the products separated from each other placed on the sieves (10).

Description:
A COMBINE HARVESTER FOR DRYING MOWN CEREALS AND STEMS

TECHNICAL FIELD

The invention relates to a system for drying the harvested cereals and stems by means of the solar panel and radiator heat transfer system before they reach the storage of the combine harvester.

PRIOR ART

There is no system for drying on the combine harvesters which are being used in today’s technology. The harvested products are transferred to the tanks by carrier conveyors and the drying process is started at this point. In the warehouse where the harvested products are stacked, the products cannot be dried completely, as it is not possible to cycle or turn the products upside-down, no matter what method is applied. Such stacking of undried products may cause spoilage, growth of mold or infestation on the products.

Combine harvesters are required to be used on any hour in a day. However, in the early hours of the day and at night, the stems of cereals close to the soil are moist according to the conditions of the region. Mowing of these parts while they are moist deteriorates the straw quality and causes rot. Therefore, in order to increase the amount of dry product, mowing is made by starting approximately 10 centimeters higher than the normal mowing height. Thus, it is tried to prevent the mowing of the wet part of the product/body of the stem. The mentioned method reduces the yield of the product. As a result, a loss of 10 centimeters of each crop would mean a significant loss for a farmer when the total loss is thought.

When the products cut without drying are taken to the threshing section by the combine harvester, the threshing process of the wet parts cannot be fully done. Because the threshing part involves breaking and shredding the cut products. Since it will not be possible to break or shred a wet product, the wet products between the harvested products will again be transferred to the warehouse as a whole, bypassing this part.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

Our invention is about a combine harvester which allows dries the harvested cereals and stems during transport before reaching the storage.

Mentioned drying process is carried out by transferring the hot water coming from a radiator (1 ) and an electric heater (8), which is running by the energy provided from a solar panel (6) located on the driver's cab of the combine harvester, to a first heater fan (2), a second heater fan (3) and a third heater fan (4) by means of a hot water hose (5) then spraying it to the product (cereal or stem) on a sieve (10) system of the combine harvester with the help of the fans.

The solar panel (6) on the driver's cab allows the harvester to collect solar energy during daylight. This energy is transmitted to the electric heater (8) on a carrier elevator (9) by a power cable (7). Cereal or stem mown by the combine harvester comes to the carrier elevator (9). The carrier elevator (9) transports the products to the sieve (10) of the combine harvester. The electric heater (8) located on the carrier elevator (9) provides the first drying before the mown products are transported to the sieves (10).

When the products’ mowing process is completed and carried by carrier elevator (9), they come to the sieves (10). The purpose of the sieves (10) is to extract and separate the mown products as much as possible. The hot water formed by the engine through the hot water hose (5) and the hot air taken from the exhaust through the hot air transmission hoses are delivered on the products separated from each other via the first heater fan (2), then to the second heater fan (3) and finally to the third heater fan (4) by means of the radiator (1 ). Thus, a second drying of the cereals on the sieve (10) is provided. Thus, the threshing part of the combine harvester will not contain any non-dry product and the process will be completed at the highest efficiency. In addition, all products that will go to storage will be dried.
