Abstract:
The inventive combustion chamber (1) for an industrial gas turbine comprises heat-protection elements (8) segmentally-disposed along the internal periphery of the housing thereof (6) and cooled by cooling air which, after cooling in an area arranged upstream of the front housing area (7) is added to a fuel (4). According to the invention, a brush seal (19) embodied in the form of a segment (19') is disposed between the front housing area (7) of the combustion chamber (1) and the heat-protection elements (8), thereby sealing said combustion chamber against the cooling air leaking in all operating states thereof.
