Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a communication device and a communication method that make it possible to adaptively perform positioning. According to the present disclosure, a communication unit performs wireless communication with surrounding communication apparatuses, and, on the basis of the frequency characteristics of propagation channels, a processing unit outputs information about the distances to the communication apparatuses and reliability information that expresses the reliability of the distance information. The present disclosure can be applied, for example, to a BLE chip.
