Abstract:
The present invention includes an upper layer unit that sets a retransmission scheme, a physical layer frame generation unit that generates a frame by using a codeword, and a wireless transmission unit that transmits the frame. When the retransmission scheme setting indicates the hybrid auto repeat request (HARQ), the physical layer frame generation unit codes a low density parity check (LDPC) information block including an information bit at a prescribed coding rate to generate a parity bit sequence, and divides the parity bit sequence into a block number given by a coding rate indicated by the modulation and coding scheme (MCS) to generate a plurality of parity blocks. Each of the parity blocks is associated with the number of retransmissions, and the codeword is generated on the basis of the information bit and one of the parity blocks.
