Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application provide a communication method, apparatus and system. The method comprises: a terminal receives configuration information from a radio access network (RAN) node, the configuration information being used for configuring precisions of codebooks on multiple levels, and the precisions of the codebooks on the levels being different; and the terminal reports information about the codebooks according to the configuration information, the range of a codebook on an (M+1)th level being defined by information about a codebook on an Mth level, M being a positive integer and less than the number of the levels of the codebooks. The RAN node configures precisions of codebooks on multiple levels for the terminal, so that the precisions of the codebooks on the levels are different, so as to obtain more flexible codebooks. In addition, the range of a codebook on a current level is defined by information about a codebook on a previous level, and accordingly, codebooks of the terminal can be measured and reported in a range, thereby reducing reporting overheads.
