Abstract:
In order to realize a general-purpose communication module with which a data communication independent of apparatus type is possible, a communication module has a plurality of communication interfaces corresponding to multiple types of different communication interfaces. A plurality of programs executed in the communication module include a first application executed on an operating system (OS) and one or a plurality of second applications executed on the OS. Each of the one or more second applications is an application that performs a communication that conforms to one or more communication protocols under one or more communication interface standards and an application that can be discretionarily installed and discretionarily uninstalled. The first application is an application as a middleware between the OS and one or the plurality of second applications.
