Title:
COMMUNICATION RANGE CONTROL DEVICE, METHOD, AND PROGRAM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/090389
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
When data transmitted by each of a plurality of devices is processed separately by a plurality of servers, the present invention enables the data to be always processed stably even when the devices move. On the basis of information that indicates the installation positions and processing capabilities of servers SV1, SV2, information pertaining to the installation position of each base station BS1-BS5, and the acquired location information of each device, a communication range control device CS performs, at a given time interval, a clustering calculation for deriving a most suitable communication range for the servers SV1, SV2, the most suitable communication range satisfying the requirements that the communication distance between the servers SV1, SV2 and each device is minimal and that neither of the servers SV1, SV2 is overloaded. The allocation of the base stations BS1-BS5 to the servers SV1, SV2 is then updated on the basis of information that indicates the most suitable communication range derived by the clustering calculation.
