Abstract:
In a communication satellite system (10), each communication satellite (20) flying in a plane of an orbit such as an orbit (A), an orbit (B), or an orbit (C) includes an anteroposterior communication device for communicating with other communication satellites (20) flying in front of and behind the communication satellite (20). Each communication satellite (20) flying along an orbit forms a cross-link communication with a communication satellite (20) on an adjacent orbit by using the anteroposterior communication device at the north end of the orbit indicated by a range (72) and the south end of the orbit indicated by a range (73). This enables inter-orbit communications using only the anteroposterior communication device.
