Abstract:
This communication system comprises a first communication device and a second communication device. The second communication device comprises: a propagation path information estimation unit that estimates propagation path information in the communication from the first communication device to the second communication device; a bit position determination unit that determines the position of a frozen bit in a polar code on the basis of the estimated propagation path information; and a second communication unit that transmits, to the first communication device, bit position information indicating the determination result of the frozen bit position. The first communication device comprises: an encoding unit that encodes, on the basis of the bit position information, information to be transmitted, and generates a transmission code; and a first communication unit that transmits the transmission code to the second communication device.
