Abstract:
According to the present invention, a packet transfer device of an underlay network determines output routes for packets that pass along overlay paths on the basis of transfer information in the packets and writes a self-device identifier into search packets that travel search paths for searches. A router (20I) has: a path selection unit (22) that transmits search packets that travel search paths for searches from among distribution candidate paths for an overlay network; a search unit (23) that searches for devices and links on the underlay network over the search paths on the basis of identifiers written into returned search packets; and a route detection unit (24) that, on the basis of search results for a plurality of search packets, detects, from among overlay paths that have the same start point and end point, an overlay path group for which all or a portion of routes pass through different packet transfer devices and links.
