Abstract:
Provided is a communication system that enables communication with a wireless tag by setting priority for readers/writers without complicating the system. Each reader/writer performs a standby process for a prescribed standby period if a radio wave of another reader/writer is detected before communication is initiated with an RFID tag (4). An average value of standby periods of a gate R/W (2) is set to be shorter than an average value of standby periods of a shelf management R/W (3).
