Provided are a communication terminal, a communication method, and a communication program with which it is possible to reestablish a once disconnected session and to resume communications with other communication terminals. Sessions are established between communication terminals (11, 12), and between communication terminals (11, 13). The communication terminal (11) notifies the communication terminal (13) of a terminal ID "12" of the communication terminal (12) and a session ID "12-2" created by the communication terminal (12). The session ID "12-2" is identification information for identifying a state from when, in a state where the communication terminal (12) is in a state where sessions with the communication terminals (11, 13) are not established, a session is established first with the communication terminal (11) up until all the sessions between the communication terminals (11, 13) are disconnected. The notified session ID "12-2" is not stored in a table (31), and thus, the communication terminal (13) starts an establishing communication for establishing a session with the communication terminal (12). Subsequently, a session is established between the communication terminals (12, 13).
