Abstract:
This component mounting machine collects and mounts a component from a component supply member capable of containing components in a container unit. The component mounting machine comprises: a distance measurement device capable of measuring the distance to an object; a control unit that performs a distance measurement process in which the distance measurement device is controlled so that the distance measurement device measures the distance to a plurality of different measurement points in the container unit; and a determination unit that performs a component presence/absence determination process in which the presence or absence of a component in the container unit is determined on the basis of a plurality of measurement values measured by the distance measurement device with respect to the plurality of measurement points.
