Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a transportation device 10 with which it is possible to minimize required space regardless of the position of a suction part 275. This transportation device 10 for picking up and moving a component P from a placement surface 11a of a pickup table 11 on which a plurality of components P obtained by cutting a sheet material S are placed is characterized in being provided with: one or more pickup arms 25 having, at the tip, a suction part 275 for suctioning a component P; a column part 23 that supports the base part of the pickup arm 25; and a movement unit 22 that moves the pickup arm 25 in a substantially horizontal transportation direction X, the pickup arm 25 being provided with an arm body 26, which is constituted by a link mechanism obtained by linking a plurality of link members having thickness in the vertical direction and which moves the suction part 275 in an extension/contraction direction Y, and an actuator 28 for actuating the link mechanism of the arm body 26.
