Abstract:
According to the present invention, after the end of a component sucking operation, an interference avoidance Q-axis rotation height position, which is a height position for performing a Q-axis rotation operation, is set to a height position midway through a suction nozzle 13 raising operation at which, even when a large component is sucked by the suction nozzle 13 and rotated, said component does not interfere with a central protrusion 51 on the bottom surface side of a rotation head 11. Control is implemented for a large component interference avoidance mode in which: the suction nozzle 13 is lowered, by a Z-axis drive mechanism 37, to a component sucking height position, which is a lower limit height position for a suction nozzle 13 lowering operation, and the component is sucked by the suction nozzle 13; then, the suction nozzle 13 is raised to the interference avoidance Q-axis rotation height position which is a height position midway through the suction nozzle 13 raising operation, and the component having been sucked by the suction nozzle 13 is rotated by means of a Q-axis rotation operation of a Q-axis drive mechanism 27, modifying the orientation of the component; and then, the suction nozzle 13 is raised to a component transport height position, which is an upper limit height position for the suction nozzle 13 raising operation, and the rotation head 11 is moved in an XY direction by means of a head movement mechanism 15.
