Abstract:
 A component pickup nozzle includes a nozzle body part, a component pickup part supported by the nozzle body part so as to be capable of rotating around a horizontal axis, a support mechanism for supporting the component pickup part in a first position and a second position differing from each other in the direction of rotation of the component pickup part, and a position switching mechanism. The position switching mechanism includes a first external-force input part, which is subjected to an external force in a first holding state in which the component pickup part is held in the first position, whereby the first external-force input part is displaced in the input direction of the external force, and a second external-force input part, which is subjected to an external force in a second holding state in which the component pickup part is held in the second position, whereby the second external-force input part is displaced in the input direction of the external force. The displacement of the first external-force input part is converted to rotational displacement of the component pickup part, whereby the component pickup part is displaced from the first position to the second position, and the displacement of the second external-force input part is converted to rotational displacement of the component pickup part, whereby the component pickup part is displaced from the second position to the first position.
