Abstract:
The invention concerns a composite element for use in an electrochemical generator. The element consists of a substrate (1) coated by cathodic sputtering with a layer (5) of amorphous TiOaXb material, where X = S, Se or Te; O < a = 2; O < b = 3, 2 = a+b = 3. The layer (5) constitutes the positive electrode of the generator and can be associated with a negative plate (9) made of lithium and an electrolyte (7) composed of a glass which is conductive by means of lithium ions.
