Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composite semipermeable membrane that has a porous layer and a separation-functional layer disposed on the porous layer. This composite semipermeable membrane has a value of 0.6-1.0 GPa for at least one of the following: a surface layer elastic modulus (EA) measured by atomic force microscopy (AFM) on the surface of the porous layer compressed under a condition A (7 MPa, 35°C, 6 hours), and a surface layer elastic modulus (EB) measured by atomic force microscopy (AFM) on the surface of the porous layer compressed under a condition B (7 MPa, 45°C, 24 hours).
