Abstract:
The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating allergic diseases, or a food composition for ameliorating allergic diseases, comprising 6'-hydroxy Justicidin-B as an active ingredient. 6'-hydroxy Justicidin-B of the present invention exhibited an excellent Th2 cytokine inhibitory effect, and exhibited an excellent anti-allergic asthmatic effect. Also, it is confirmed that 6'-hydroxy Justicidin-B has an excellent anaphylaxis inhibitory effect. Accordingly, it is possible to effectively prevent, treat, or ameliorate allergic diseases by using 6'-hydroxy Justicidin-B as an active ingredient.
