Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a massage apparatus that measures the blood pressure of a user. The massage apparatus according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises: a control unit for controlling the massage apparatus; a body massage part for massaging the upper part and the lower part of the user according to the control of the control unit; an arm massage part that is located on at least one side or the other side of the body massage part and massages the arm of the user according to the control of the control unit, the arm massage part including a first air cell located along the inner wall of the arm massage part and a second air cell located inside the first air cell; and a first air supply part for supplying at least one of massage air or first blood pressure measurement air to the first air cell according to the control of the control unit. The control unit can measure changes in the pneumatic pressure of the second air cell while providing the first blood pressure measurement air to the first air cell so as to expand the first air cell, and can determine whether or not to measure the blood pressure on the basis of the changes in the pneumatic pressure.
