Title:
COMPOSITION, COMPRISING DNA FRAGMENT MIXTURE AND MATRIX METALLOPROTEASE PRODUCTION INHIBITOR, FOR PREVENTION AND TREATMENT OF ARTHRITIS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/240323
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composition for prevention and treatment of arthritis, which comprises a DNA fragment mixture and a matrix metalloprotease (MMP) production inhibitor able to solve the problem of matrix metalloprotease production caused upon the use of the DNA fragment mixture in preventing and treating arthritis and thus can suppress inflammatory pain and regenerate cartilage. Being able to inhibit the matrix metalloprotease production attributed to a DNA fragment mixture, the composition can be effectively used to induce a proliferative effect on chondrocytes, a restorative potential from damaged chondrocytes, a regenerative effect on cartilage, and an alleviative effect on arthritis, without side effects.
