A mobile terminal according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a microphone which receives a voice command of a user; a memory; and a control unit which controls the microphone and the memory. The control unit can: receive a first voice command; store a first voice pattern of the first voice command in the memory, if recognition of the received first voice command fails; receive a second voice command; adjust a voice recognition threshold that indicates voice recognition capability if a second voice pattern of the second voice command is similar to the first voice pattern; and transmit, to a server, the first voice pattern stored in the memory and the adjusted voice recognition threshold if the second voice command is recognized due to the adjustment of the voice recognition threshold.
