Abstract:
Provided are a novel composition, film, microlens, solid-state imaging device, and display device. A composition containing an organic compound A that has a refractive index of 1.58 or higher with respect to light having a wavelength of 633 nm, a near-infrared-radiation-absorbing pigment, and a solvent, the composition being such that: the organic compound A is at least one selected from polymeric compounds and resins; and when a 0.35-μm-thick film is formed using the aforementioned composition, the refractive index of the film with respect to light having a wavelength 633 nm is 1.58 or higher, and the minimum value of the transmittance of the film with respect to light having a wavelength of 400-600 nm is 85% or higher.
