Abstract:
The present invention relates to: a health functional food composition for preventing and/or ameliorating influenza virus infection; and a pharmaceutical composition for preventing and/or treating influenza virus infection, wherein the health functional food composition and pharmaceutical composition include a fermented product of an Angelica gigas extract and/or a fraction thereof. In addition, the present invention relates to: a health functional food composition for preventing and/or ameliorating influenza virus infection; and a pharmaceutical composition for preventing and/or treating influenza virus infection, wherein the health functional food composition and pharmaceutical composition include nodakenetin. More specifically, the fermented product of Angelica gigas extract and/or the fraction thereof according to the present invention suppress the proliferation of influenza virus infection by inhibiting the activity of neuraminidase, and thus can be effectively used, for example, as a health functional food composition for preventing and/or ameliorating influenza virus infection, and a pharmaceutical composition for preventing and/or treating influenza virus infection.
