Provided is a composition for a light diffusion film by which a light diffusion film can be obtained which has excellent incidence angle dependency in transmission and diffusion of light and which, even when exposed to ultraviolet radiation over a long time is not prone to yellowing and has excellent weather resistance; also provided is a light diffusion film obtained by curing said composition. This composition for a light diffusion film contains a (meth)acrylic acid ester containing multiple aromatic rings as component (A), a urethane (meth)acrylate as component (B), a photopolymerization initiator as component (C), and a hindered amine photostabilizer as component (D), wherein the amount contained of component (A) is set to a value within a prescribed range relative to 100 parts by mass of component (B), the amount contained of component (C) is set to a value within a prescribed range relative to the total amount (100 parts by mass) of component (A) and component (B), and the amount contained of component (D) is set to a value within a prescribed range relative to the total amount (100 parts by mass) of component (A) and component (B).
