Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a moisture content indicator of which the color changes sufficiently before and after detecting the moisture content and which, as a result, can certainly display that the moisture content was detected such that it is possible to sufficiently produce color after coating and before the detection of the moisture content and to sufficiently eliminate the color upon detecting the moisture content. [Solution] A composition for a moisture content indicator, the composition containing: an electron-donating color-forming organic compound; at least one acid selected from among an acid having a phenolic hydroxyl group, an acid having a hydroxyl group and a carboxylic acid group, or an acid having multiple carboxylic acid groups; a water-soluble and oil-soluble resin; cyclodextrin; and a solvent.
