Abstract:
The present invention provides: a composition which enables the formation of an optically anisotropic film that has reverse wavelength dispersion properties, while satisfying nx > nz > ny; an optically anisotropic film; an optical film; a circularly polarizing plate; and an organic EL display device. A composition according to the present invention contains a compound represented by formula (1) and a rod-like compound; the compound represented by formula (1) has a maximum absorption wavelength within the wavelength range of 300 nm or less; and the rod-like compound has a maximum absorption wavelength within the wavelength range of 330 nm or more.
