Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composition for prevention or treatment of a tau-related disease. Particularly characterized by comprising levosimendan and rivastigmine in combination, the composition exhibits a remarkably higher effect of inhibiting tau aggregation, compared to the employment of levosimendan alone and a higher effect of inhibiting tau aggregation, compared to the employment of other compounds in combination, and is free of cytotoxicity, thereby finding advantageous applications in the prevention and/or treatment of tau-related diseases including neurodegenerative disease.
