Abstract:
A composition for a sheet cleaning agent is disclosed which contains (a) a water-soluble polymer compound with film-forming power, (b) an alkali salt of fatty acids and (c) a compound represented by the following general formula (I): (I) (wherein R represents an alkyl group having 4-34 carbon atoms or an alkenyl group having 4-34 carbon atoms; at least one of X1 and X2 represents -CH2COOM and the rest is a hydrogen atom; and M represents an alkali metal, an alkaline earth metal, ammonium, a lower alkanolamine cation, a lower alkylamine cation or a basic amino acid cation). The composition suitable for sheet cleaning agents is excellent in solubility and foaming property, and leaves no residue.
